Three Awards in Discover Cork Schools Heritage Project


Our latest awards

In 2016, our 6th class pupils won second prize in the Discover Cork Schools Heritage Project for their entry "1916 Around West Cork".  Congratulations to Leanne O’ Sullivan, Gráinne Hickey, Seán Crowley and Alan McKennedy.


In March 2016 Our latest film "1916 Rising" qualified for the final of the Fresh Film Festival held in the Odeon Cinema in Limerick.

At Sciath Na Scol - the boys team were narrowly defeated by 1 point in the semifinal against Glandore whilst the girls team put on a great display of football throughout the tournament.


At Cork City Sports we brought home a third place medal for the U.9 girls - Congratualtions to Éanna Hickey.


In 2015, we won First Prize at Discover Cork School Hertigage Awards' with project- "Farnashesheree Corn Mill"
