Happy Holidays
Wishing all the pupils and families of Ahioill National School a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Christmas Holidays
School will close for the Christmas break on Friday December 21st and will reopen on January 7th 2019.
School Closure
The school will be closed on Monday December 17th as the staff have a Primary Language Curriculum training day. School will reopen as normal on Tuesday 18th December.
Bubble Tube
we have added to our sensory room with a spectacular bubble tube. It has many calming and stimulating benefits, especially for children with SEN. This was also funded by the parents association money, collected from the vintage tractor run last year. A huge thanks to everyone involved for the kind donations.
Friendship benches
Fantastic new ‘Friendship benches’ arrived to Ahiohill National School this week. They are a wonderful addition to our sensory garden and the children will get lots of enjoyment from them. This was funded by the parents association money, collected from the Vintage tractor run last year. A huge thanks to everyone involved in this donation.
Safety Flag
4 students from our Safety Committee will go to the County Hall on Wednesday November 14th to receive our Safety flag from Cork Lord Mayor Tony Fitzgerald. Well done to all involved.
Christmas Concert
The Christmas concert will take place on November 30th at 7.30 p.m. in Rossmore hall. Tickets go on sale in school on Monday morning November 19th. Each family can pre-buy up to 4 tickets and extra will be purchased on the night.
MID- TERM BREAK
School will be closed for mid-term break from Mon Oct 29th until Nov 2nd. School reopens on Nov 5th. Enjoy!
School closure- FRI OCT 26TH
Reminder - The school will be closed on Fri Oct. 26th due to our school being a polling station for the elections on this day.
